Meals & Snacks
At Camp High-Tor, each camper is provided with a nutritional lunch and two healthy snacks. Children ARE NOT permitted to bring any food or drink with them to camp with the exception of physician-directed dietary requirements. We appreciate your support and understanding of our program!
Registration
A $10 per week/per family deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve your child’s spot at Camp High-Tor. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please remember that a deposit will be required at the time of registration.

Scholarship Program
The YMCA never turns away anyone for the inability to pay. We offer financial assistance for our memberships and programs and anyone may request assistance by completing an application form available at the Member Services Desk or by calling 304-757-0016.

Adventure Camp
At Camp High-Tor Adventure Camp, children that turn 5 before June 1, 2019 through the completion of 5th grade will participate in activities that are designed to help them develop confidence and foster independence. They will experience age-appropriate games, swimming, crafts, hiking, and sports. These activities led by enthusiastic and well-trained staff, will give your child the experience of a lifetime!

Leaders in Training Camp
Leaders in Training Camp is designed for children who have completed 6th grade through 8th grade. This character development based program will allow your child to have the full “camper” experience while building their character through specialized curriculum. Your child will learn how to implement the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while having a blast at Camp High-Tor!

Counselors in Training Camp
Our Counselors in Training Camp is offered to students who have completed 9th grade through age 17 who want to enjoy camp in a new way. This mentorship program will allow your child to learn what it takes to be a Camp High-Tor counselor. They will be challenged with curriculum that will help them become young men and women who model the YMCA core values. Applicants to this program will only be accepted upon completion of an interview. Please contact Angel Anderson at 304.757.0016 for additional information and registration fees.

Field Trips
Field trips are offered some weeks at Camp High-Tor. Please be aware that there are age restrictions for some of the field trips. Fees for the trips must be paid by the Monday before the trip. No payments will be accepted the morning of the trip. Field trip payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Each field trip is limited to 70 campers. If inclement weather makes a field trip impossible such as Wave Pool or Heritage Farms, an alternative field trip will be taken if available.
